Pre-Registration will be available from June 22nd-July 26th for the following courses:
BIO 110, BIO 111, CHM 131, CSC 108, CSC 161, CSC 171, MTH 140A, MTH 141, MTH 161 and WRT 105
Pre-Registration is designed to help students plan ahead in certain key science courses as well as WRT 105. Pre-Registration will be particularly helpful if you plan on taking multiple of the above mentioned courses, in order to plan out multiple components of the classes, such as labs and workshops.
Pre-Registration guarantees you a spot in the course, but is not binding. After meeting with your adviser during Orientation week, you will have the opportunity to change your schedule.
For information about how to Pre-Register, download the Pre-Registration brochure from Orientation Online.

Your Guide to Orientation Online
Orientation Online is open until July 31st.
Course Planning
This form gives your pre-major adviser the opportunity to see what you are interested in studying. This is NOT pre-registration and does not guarantee you a place in a course, but should be used for planning purposes. Feel free to list as many classes as you'd like!
Advising Questionnaire
This form helps your adviser get to know you better and can also help you to organize your thoughts as to what you want to get out of your college experience.
Foreign Language Placement
There's no foreign language requirement at University of Rochester, but if you are planning on continuing your foreign language education, take this placement exam to see what class would be appropriate for you.
Primary Writing Requirement
Visit http://writing.rochester.edu/requirements/enteringfreshmen.html to determine how you will need to fulfill the primary writing requirement at Rochester.
Activities Interest Survey
You'll have the opportunity to attend the activities fair early in the semester, but get an idea of all the groups available by browsing these pages--indicate what clubs you are interested in by checking the boxes.
